The Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health brings together experts in a hub for training, research, and clinical care.
Some of the research areas explored at the centre include Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, amytrophic lateral sclerosis, multiple sclerosis, mental health and addiction, stroke and neurotrauma amongst others. Researchers work in collaboration with clinicians at the Djavad Mowafaghian Centre for Brain Health to move research from the bench to the bedside, and back again, in order to translate research into patient care and therapies.
